I have an optimistic opinion of the world, and find pleasure in making people smile. I have been married for about 25 years past the paper anniversary, and my wife and I have lived in Strathcona County for about the same amount of time. I have worked in the field of analytical chemistry for about 29 years, with experience in customer service and management positions. My work has prepared me to make sure things always run smoothly.
In my spare time I enjoy never-ending landscaping projects, cheese, running (to combat the cheese), and the social aspects of pick-up hockey. When I grow up, I would like to be a blacksmith.
I was appointed as a marriage commissioner in Alberta in 2013. As your marriage commissioner, I believe that I can bring a positive and professional attitude, and an attentive focus to your day. If you are in love and committed to a life-long relationship, I would be happy to perform your marriage ceremony. If you have plans for something that is a bit off the beaten path from a traditional ceremony, I would be happy to help make it work for you. Please contact me to see if I am the right marriage commissioner for your wedding day.
Other Languages
I read and write IUPAC nomenclature, and have a good working knowledge of Fortran and Pascal. If you need the ceremony in other languages, a translator will be required – please review the details page for current requirements on translators. In the Edmonton area, there are many marriage commissioners with a wide range of langugages–if you need help finding someone with a specific langugage skill, send me a note and I will try to help out.
